Abstract. PT X is a manufacturing company that produces various kinds of bags. The resulting bag products are grouped into 16 families and 25 items with a make to stock (MTS) production strategy. The company markets its products both online and offline. The problem faced by the company is the amount of production that tends to be flat and in excess occurs every month, while the products sold every month fluctuates. The impact is too many unsold products, lost opportunities for turnover, and lack of capacity in almost all work stations. This research was conducted to formulate how to make a production schedule so that the number of unsold products would be smaller by considering the company's gross capacity requirements. The stages of the research were carried out, namely forecasting, aggregating planning, disaggregation which resulted in JPI, then Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP). The study produces a master production schedule that can be used by the company and validates this schedule with the RCCP. The results showed that the results of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) validation by the RCCP showed that there was a lack of capacity in WC 3, WC 4, and WC 7 in period 30. The lack of capacity was overcome by moving the workload profile from period 30 to period 29 so that there were no more work stations that lacked capacity.Keywords: Forecasting, Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), Workload Adjustment.Abstrak. PT X merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi berbagai macam tas. Produk tas yang dihasilkan dikelompokkan menjadi 16 family dan 25 item dengan strategi produksi make to stock (MTS). Perusahaan memasarkan produknya secara online dan offline. Permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah jumlah produksi yang cenderung rata dan berlebih terjadi setiap bulannya sedangkan produk yang terjual setiap bulannya fluktuatif. Dampaknya adalah jumlah produk tidak terjual yang terlalu banyak, kehilangan kesempatan perolehan omset, dan kekurangan kapasitas di hampir seluruh stasiun kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merumuskan bagaimana cara membuat jadwal produksi agar jumlah produk tidak terjual menjadi lebih sedikit dengan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan kapasitas kasar perusahaan. Tahapan penelitian dilakukan yaitu melakukan peramalan, perencanaan agregat, disagregasi yang menghasilkan JPI, lalu Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP). Penelitian menghasilkan jadwal produksi induk yang dapat digunakan perusahaan dan validasi jadwal tersebut dengan RCCP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi Jadwal Produksi Induk (JPI) oleh RCCP menunjukkan kekurangan kapasitas terjadi di SK 3, SK 4, dan SK 7 pada periode 30. Kekurangan kapasitas diatasi dengan memindahkan profil beban kerja periode 30 ke periode 29 sehingga tidak ada lagi stasiun kerja yang kekurangan kapasitas.Kata Kunci: Peramalan, Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), Penyesuaian Beban Kerja. |
