Abstract. CV. Daya Reksa Presindo is a company engaged in the metal industry with various types of motorcycle spare parts. This company produces four types of spare parts which include Base Seat Catch, Cam A Seat Catch, Stay Side Cover 1, and Stay Side Cover 2. The four products are produced by passing through the same workstations, which include blank-piercing workstation, shearing workstation, bending workstation, and drilling workstation. Based on data number of production and data number of defective products at CV. Daya Reksa Presindo can be seen that only Cam A Seat Catch products have a defect percentage beyond the company's tolerance limit. The company sets a tolerance limit of 6%. Defects that occur in Cam A Seat Catch products can be identified based on each workstation. The defect that occurs at a blank-piercing workstation is a piercing defect which has a problem in the form of a dull chisel and iron with a chisel punch. Defects that occur at the shearing workstation are crack defects that have problems in the form of a large number of scrap on the mold, worn dies, unclear shearing markers, and press machine is too strong to punch. The defect that occurs at the bending workstation is a tilt defect which has problems in the form of a damaged angle meter, untidy shape, and worn bending stand. Defects that occur at the drilling workstation are inclined or tilted drill defects which have problems in the form of unsuitable holes, worn drill bits, forgetting to use water coolant. Defects that occur in Cam A Seat Catch products can be improved by using quality control tools, namely New Seven Tools to find out problems with disabilities, identify causes of defects, map repair strategies, map repair tasks, map alternative repair solutions, and plan improvements. Meanwhile, the proposed improvements are made in the form of designs based on the 5S principles, namely seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, and shitsuke. Based on the results of the 5S checklist audit and the 5S score on the condition of the company CV. Daya Reksa Presindo obtained a score of 27% which can be categorized as bad.Keywords: Metal industry, spareparts, New Seven Tools, 5SAbstrak. CV. Daya Reksa Presindo merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri logam dengan produk yang dihasilkan yaitu berbagai jenis sparepart sepeda motor. Perusahaan ini memproduksi empat jenis produk yang meliputi Base Seat Catch, Cam A Seat Catch, Stay Side Cover 1, dan Stay Side Cover 2. Keempat produk tersebut diproduksi dengan melewati stasiun kerja yang sama yaitu yaitu stasiun kerja blank-piercing, stasiun kerja shearing, stasiun kerja bending, dan stasiun kerja drilling. Berdasarkan data jumlah produksi dan data jumlah produk cacat pada CV. Daya Reksa Presindo dapat diketahui bahwa hanya produk Cam A Seat Catch yang memiliki presentase kecacatan di luar batas toleransi perusahaan. Perusahaan menetapkan batas toleransi sebesar 6%. Kecacatan yang terjadi pada produk Cam A Seat Catch dapat diketahui berdasarkan settiap stasiun kerjanya. Kecacatan yang terjadi pada stasiun kerja blank-piercing adalah cacat piercing yang memiliki permasalahan berupa pahat yang tumpul dan besi berbekas punch pahat. Kecacatan yang terjadi pada stasiun kerja shearing adalah cacat crack atau retak yang memiliki permasalahan berupa banyaknya scrap pada cetakan, dies yang sudah aus, penanda shearing yang tidak jelas, serta mesin press yang terlalu kuat. Kecacatan yang terjadi pada stasiun kerja bending adalah cacat tilt atau miring yang memiliki permasalahan berupa angle meter rusak, bentuk yang tidak rapi, serta dudukan bending yang sudah usang. Kecacatan yang terjadi pada stasiun kerja drilling adalah cacat drill mencong atau miring yang memiliki permasalahan berupa lubang tidak pas, mata bor yang sudah aus, lupa penggunaan cairan coolant. Kecacatan yang terjadi pada produk Cam A Seat Catch dapat dilakukan perbaikan kualitas dengan menggunakan alat pengendalian kualitas yaitu New Seven Tools untuk mengetahui permasalahan pada kecacatan, mengidentifikasi penyebab kecacatan, memetakan strategi perbaikan, memetakan tugas perbaikan, memetakan alternatif solusi perbaikan, dan melakukan perencanaan perbaikan. Sedangkan untuk usulan perbaikan dibuatkan berupa rancangan-rancangan berdasarkan kaidah 5S yaitu seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, dan shitsuke. Berdasarkan hasil audit checklist 5S dan pemberian score 5S pada kondisi perusahaan CV. Daya Reksa Presindo didapatkan score 27% yang dapat dikategorikan buruk.Kata Kunci: Industri logam, Sparepart, New Seven Tools, 5S |
