Abstract. This research is motivated by the development of technology and the development of online information media, the emergence of the diversity of existing media, one of which is the alternative media with the use of satirical language applied by mojok.co. with the use of critical language with jokes or humor in his writing that emphasizes sarcasm words. Journalism students in the city of Bandung are active readers who read all the news available. The many thoughts, knowledge and personalities of Bandung City Journalism Students led to various receptions when they read on mojok.co. The methodology in this study is qualitative with Stuart Hall's reception analysis approach. The theory used is Stuart Hall's theory of meaning. The results of this study indicate that the reception that emerged from the Journalistic Students of Bandung City created new thoughts and increased their knowledge because eight informants representing various universities in Bandung agreed with the information conveyed by mojok.co and was factual in their writing. Their position is not all the same because there are different thoughts according to the experience, knowledge and background of each student.Keywords: Receprtion Analysis, Satire News, Theory Stuart Hall.Abstrak. perkembangan teknologi dan perkembangan media informasi online munculnya keberagaman media yang ada saat ini salah satunya adalah media alternantif dengan penggunaan bahasa satire yang diterapkan oleh mojok.co. dengan penggunaan bahasa yang mengkritik dengan candaan atau humor pada produk jurnalistiknya yang menggunakan kata-kata sarkasme. Mahasiswa jurnalistik Kota Bandung merupakan pembaca yang aktif membaca segala pemberitaan yang ada. Banyaknya pemikiran, pengetahuan dan kepribadian dari Mahasiswa Jurnalistik Kota Bandung menimbulkan resepsi yang muncul beragam ketika sesudah membaca di mojok.co. Metodelogi pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan analasis resepsi Stuart Hall. Teori yang digunakaan adalah teori pemaknaan Stuart Hall. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa resepsi yang muncul dari Mahasiswa Jurnalistik Kota Bandung dari delapan informan yang mewakilkan dari berbagai universitas di Kota Bandung sepakat dengan informasi dan faktualitas pada tulisannya. Posisi informan tidak semuanya sama karena adanya pemikiran yang berbeda sesia dengan pengalaman, pengetahuan dan latar belakang masing-masing mahasiswa.Kata Kunci: Analisis Resepsi, Berita Satire, Teori Pemaknaan Stuart Hall. |
