Rawabogo Village is a tourist villages in Bandung Regency which has problems with less than optimal community participation (1). Participation is built through of the demands, sense of community ownership and interest. The processes that occur in the human brain are still measured by old measurement methods that difficult to measure dynamically and accurately (10). Neuroscience can control the validity and subjectivity of old methods such as questionnaires and interviews (2,10). Thus, this study aims to identify the interest of the local community in Rawabogo Village regarding the development of tourism village based on neuroscience method until able to recommend some of efforts. The analytical method used is the electroencephalography (EEG) signal decomposition method, validity and reliability tests, and weighting. The results of the analysis obtained are respondents 2,3,4,5 and 8 have higher entropy values than the average value or indicated to have high interest, while respondents 1,3,6, and 7 have lower entropy values than the average value or indicate low interest. The questionnaire results showed that the interest measures of respondents 1, 2 and 3 are included in the very high-interest category, while respondents 4,5, 6, 7, and 8 are included in the high-interest category. The difference between the questionnaire results and the entropy results is based on differences in people’s experiences in developing tourist villages. These different experiences cause different levels of chaos and affect the brain wave signals that are received or recorded. |
