Abstract:
Kota Baru Parahyangan is area that was developed by PT. Property Lyman (Lyman
Group). The area was built in 2004, located in Padalarang, West Bandung Regency.
Kota Baru Parahyangan, as a satellite city, has a unique design that is different from the
other new city, by presenting the “vision and spirit ". Locafore is one of an event for
three consecutive days that presents art, design and top jazz music. Locafore activities
held since 2011. The objective is to promote the implementation Locafore Kota Baru
Parahyangan to build a community of art and jazz as well as encourage the creation of
creators, artists, designers, and musicians Indonesia that can be a source of motive
power on the basis of the creative economy without leaving the natural richness and
diversity of the local culture.
This study, entitled "Event Locafore Raising Strategies Image Kota Baru Parahyangan"
(Descriptive Study Regarding The Forum public relations Event Locafore Kota Baru
Parahyangan PR Strategies In Raising the image). This study aims to determine Locafore
one of the strategies used Kota Baru Parahyangan to promote and create a good image
in the eyes of society. This study used quantitative descriptive method, the interview data.
The data obtained from interviews with four speakers, two of them from the Kota Baru
Parahyangan and the other two joint committee event Locafore.
The results obtained is that with the event organized Locafore freely (free) to the visitors
who come this creates a positive image in the eyes of society to Kota Baru Parahyangan,
any this event Locafore easily the Kota Baru Parahyangan to promote existing housing
and based on the existence of a community in Kota Baru Parahyangan to create a solid
community.
